Dino Ndlovu: Nobody must write us off in a cup game
Dino Ndlovu says Marumo Gallants can surprise Orlando Pirates in their Nedbank Cup semi-final at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
The Buccaneers made the announcement on Thursday that the successful Spanish head coach had decided against extending his stay with the club.
Riveiro joined Pirates three seasons ago and has won five trophies, and this term his team are still in contention for the Nedbank Cup, Betway Premiership and CAF Champions League.
The coach explained that he will reveal his real reason for deciding to leave once the current campaign is over.
His only focus in on the club's upcoming league clash with Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
The Bucs boss said in the Citizen: "My priority right now is on our upcoming match against Polokwane City. This is a tough match. A match that needs our undivided attention and focus.
"The time will come for me to express myself on the decision I have made but now isn't that time because we have a job to do. The season is far from over and we have a lot of work to do between now and the end of May.
"Obviously, in an ideal world, one would have wanted to hold on making any statements until the end of the season but it's not possible. The club needs to plan for its future and it's only fair that they are given time to do so."
