Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari attracting attention from abroad

The 25-year-old former AS Kigali and TS Galaxy shotstopper joined Amakhosi in 2024 but has only played seven times for the Nasreddine Nabi-coached side.

He was initially first choice for the Tunisian head coach but picked up an injury while playing for his country in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He is now playing second fiddle to Bruce Bvuma at Chiefs and could move on to secure regular game time.

Ntwari is said to be a target of a French second division team, who have been impressed with his performances for Rwanda in recent World Cup qualifiers.

Amrouche told FARPost: "There is a second division club from France; they also asked me about him.

"I trust the coaches at Chiefs, and I hope between now and June, he's going to get his chance to play again because we need him for the rest of the qualifiers.

"He was good (in goal for Rwanda). I thought the lack of game time would affect him, but he was good.

"You can see his teammates trust him, and I also trust him. I have a lot of confidence in him because of his qualities. He's also an incredible person to work with. He's a hard worker, and the players love him. People love him in Rwanda."
