Report: Leroy Sane's Bayern Munich fate hangs in the balance as Arsenal lurk

With only three months remaining on his current deal, the 29-year-old winger's next move is still anyone's guess.

Sane has made it clear he wants to stay at Bayern, even hinting he'd accept a lower wage to sign a new contract. "Everything is in motion," he said recently, brushing off worries about his expiring deal, according to Sport1.

Yet, despite his loyalty, Bayern have held off on tabling an offer. Sky Germany reported that doubts over Sane's consistency have sparked debate within the club, though support for keeping him is growing louder.

The decision isn't far off. Sky Germany revealed Bayern have set a tight window, one to three weeks, to settle Sane's fate.

If they don't act fast, Arsenal are ready to pounce, eyeing a free transfer for the former Manchester City star this summer.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta knows Sane's game inside out, having worked with him during their days at Manchester City, where Arteta served under Pep Guardiola. That connection could give the Gunners an edge if Bayern let negotiations slip.
