The 32-year-old former Bafana Bafana star joined the Rockets earlier this season after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs in 2024. Since then, he's made an immediate impact, not only with his experience on the pitch but also as a mentor to the club's developing talent.
"The presence of Keagan Dolly is helping us a lot as youngsters. We know where he's coming from in his career," Ndamane told FARPost.
"Sometimes we watch old videos of him playing overseas, and that makes us believe we can also reach that level one day."
Dolly, who played in France for Montpellier before returning to the PSL, has taken on a leadership role at Galaxy. Ndamane praised him for offering encouragement during tough moments on the pitch.
"If we lose the ball, he tells us not to drop our heads. That kind of support helps us keep going," he added. "And it's not just Dolly — senior players like Mlungisi Mbunjana are also guiding us."
Since joining Adnan Beganovic's squad, Dolly has made 15 league appearances and played a key role in Galaxy's solid campaign. The Rockets currently sit fifth on the Betway Premiership log with 36 points from 26 matches, showing consistent form in the top half of the table.
