Report: Barcelona show interest in Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz
Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Munoz as they look to reinforce their full-back positions ahead of next season.
If approved, the deal would allow construction to continue 24 hours a day, seven days a week, helping to make up for recent delays.
The renovation project has faced setbacks, affecting Barcelona's planned return to their iconic stadium.
However, the club and construction company Limak are working towards meeting the target return date of 11 May, when Barcelona hopes to host Real Madrid for El Clasico.
The agreement has already received backing from residents of the Les Corts district, a crucial step towards formalisation.
If no obstacles arise, the deal is expected to be officially signed next week. This would give Limak just over three months to accelerate work and ensure the stadium is ready in time.
The renovated Camp Nou is set to accommodate around 60,000 fans upon reopening.
Hosting El Clasico at the stadium remains Barcelona's top priority, but alternative venues, such as Estadi Johan Cruyff or a major European stadium, are being considered if the work is not completed on time.
