Akor Adams ruled out for Sevilla with injury

The 25-year-old Nigerian forward has played just four games this season following his January transfer from Montpellier.

He picked up a hamstring injury shortly after joining the club, and will now spend time on the sidelines again.

Adams picked up his latest knock in the 2-1 LaLiga loss to Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

A club statement read: "Sevilla FC's medical team reports that Akor Adams has a muscle injury in the rectus femoris muscle of his right thigh, which was detected after experiencing discomfort in the final LALIGA match against Atlético de Madrid last Sunday.

“The Nigerian player will begin his recovery process this Wednesday.”
