Son Heung-min: Tottenham conceded 'sloppy' goals against Leicester

Leicester stunned Spurs with two quickfire goals immediately after half-time, leaving the home side with no response.

The defeat leaves Tottenham in the bottom six of the Premier League, a stark contrast to their position at the start of last season when they were top of the table under head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Since then, Spurs have endured a significant decline, earning just five points from the last 33 available and amassing a total of 64 points in their last 51 matches - form that reflects a mid-table team at best.

Captain Son voiced his frustration after the match, criticising the squad for lacking focus and concentration.

"It is very painful. What can I say?" said Son.

"Especially when you're winning at half-time and conceding two goals in a short period of time. It let us down and it's very frustrating.

"We can't just (blame) tiredness because we had just came out for the second half. Maybe it was a little bit sloppy, it is not individual mistakes, generally everything is just combining together.

"It is just a lack of concentration and a bit of sloppiness, and in the Premier League table any team can punish us.

"It was not good enough and sometimes we made the wrong decision in the final moment. It is very disappointing to not get three points and to concede goals like this."
