Harry Kane, Leon Goretzka boost for Bayern's Champions League showdown

Kane, Bayern's talismanic striker, suffered a knock during the team's 3-1 victory over Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Friday.

However, the England captain has shaken off the injury scare, completing full training on Sunday. "Harry's looking sharp and ready," a club insider revealed, raising hopes that the former Tottenham man will lead the line against Inter.

Likewise, midfielder Leon Goretzka appears to have overcome a nagging back issue that sidelined him for the Augsburg match. The German powerhouse rejoined his teammates in training over the weekend, and Bayern are optimistic he'll be in the starting XI.

"Leon's a warrior, he's battled through this before," head coach Vincent Kompany has said, praising the 30-year-old's resilience.

Not all the news is positive, though. Bayern are sweating over the fitness of winger Kingsley Coman, who remains a major doubt for Tuesday's tie. The Frenchman missed the recent win and hasn't returned to training, leaving Kompany with a selection headache.

"We're monitoring Kingsley day by day, but it's tight," Kompany admitted after Sunday's session.

The Bavarians are already grappling with a lengthy injury list. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, defenders Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano, and young star Jamal Musiala are all confirmed absentees for the Inter clash.

Musiala's hamstring injury, picked up against Augsburg, has ruled him out for weeks, dealing a blow to Bayern's attacking flair. "It's a tough one to take, Jamal's been electric this season," Kane has said, reflecting on his teammate's absence.

Despite the setbacks, Bayern are determined to put up a fight at the Allianz Arena. Kane, who has netted 23 Bundesliga goals this campaign, remains confident. "Inter are a top side, but on our day, we can beat anyone," he has said, eyeing a statement win in Europe.

Meanwhile, Kompany's latest comments on Monday morning underscored the team's resolve: "We've got depth, and the lads are fired up for this one." With the stakes sky-high, all eyes are on Munich as Bayern prepare to battle Inter in a thrilling Champions League showdown.
