"Normally, it's a good effort if you last three months at this club!" he said. "Once you sign for Leeds United, you know there's intense expectation. Every week, someone's linked with your job. It's nothing new."

The 48-year-old also took aim at the media frenzy surrounding the club. "Journalists from all over the country, who've never spoken to anyone here, want to write about Leeds United," Farke said. "Sometimes they need shock news to sell their stories." His comments reflect a seasoned manager unbothered by the noise, keeping his focus on the challenges ahead.

Survival in the Premier League is the immediate priority, and Farke is under no illusions about the scale of the task. "The next big step is to survive the first season," he said. "It's never easy. Everything, decision-making, recruitment, has to be spot on."

Drawing on his experience at Norwich City, where limited budgets hampered their top-flight campaigns, Farke stressed the need for resources. "I know what you need to survive in the Premier League, which I didn't have at Norwich," he said. "Proper backing makes it more likely you stay up. Without the right tools, it's a massive challenge."

Farke pointed to the struggles of other promoted sides like Ipswich Town, Southampton, and Leicester City, noting their heavy spending failed to secure survival. "You can see the numbers they spent, but it wasn't enough," he said.

At Norwich, he recalled, "We spent about eight million pounds and still had more points than some promoted teams last season."

Despite the speculation, Farke enjoys a strong relationship with Leeds United's director, Paraag Marathe. "We have a really trustful relationship," he said. "I spoke with Paraag last evening. We're working on a clear budget, contract decisions, and squad planning."

The club are also making strides off the pitch, with improvements to the training ground and a pre-season training camp in the works.
